Frequently Asked Questions
Is it free to stay at a Pub Stop?
In Ireland pubs offer a range of services. Some allow you to park for free if you support their business by enjoying food, drinks, or entertainment. Others allow you to park for free but may have a charge for extra services such as electric hookup. A number of pubs have recently invested heavily in providing services that are on a par with campsites. They have access control, dedicated pitches and all the usual services such as waste disposal, EHU etc.
Do I need to book in advance?
While many pubs accept walk-ins, we recommend calling ahead, especially if you’re traveling in a group, visiting during peak season, or if the listing suggests limited space.
Do Pub Stops offer services like electricity, water, or waste disposal?
Some pubs do, but not all. Check each facility before hand to know what servies they offer. Many provide basic overnight parking only, so plan ahead for water, waste, and power needs.
