Pub Stops – Terms & Conditions for Listings

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the participation of pubs, bars, and venues (“you”, “your”, “the business”) in the Pub Stops platform, including but not limited to listings, event submissions, promotional opportunities, and group participation. By purchasing or maintaining a listing with Pub Stops, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Listings & Payments

All listings are provided on a recurring payment basis (monthly or annual as agreed).
Payments will continue until you cancel in writing, subject to the applicable notice period.
Non-payment may result in suspension or removal of your listing without further notice.
Refunds are not provided for partial periods once a billing cycle has commenced.

2. Listing Format & Content

The format, design, and structure of listings may change from time to time in line with Pub Stops’ business needs and improvements.
Archive page images must be a single exterior photograph of your pub. This ensures consistency across the Pub Stops directory.
We reserve the right to edit or decline content that is misleading, unlawful, offensive, or inconsistent with the Pub Stops brand.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date business details, images, and event information.

3. Event Submissions

Events must be submitted by the weekly deadline, currently 12pm on Wednesday, in order to be included in the upcoming Pub Stops Events Guide.
Paid members may submit poster events after this deadline, and Pub Stops will make reasonable efforts to include them in the weekly events post.
Pub Stops does not guarantee inclusion of any event if submitted late or if space is limited.

3A. Featured Spots & Promotional Packages

As part of certain promotional packages, you may choose an available date for a Featured Spot.
Featured Spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
If a spot is not claimed, it may be reallocated to other listings on a lottery basis.
Pub Stops reserves the right to restrict Featured Spots to a fixed promotional period each year.
No guarantees are made regarding the availability of any specific date or period.

3B. Social Media Group Participation

Pub Stops encourages pubs to actively engage with our social media community.
To protect the group experience, pubs are not permitted to start new discussion threads directly, as unrestricted posting often results in spam that reduces group value.
Instead, we encourage you to ask your visitors and customers to share their own experiences, as these posts consistently receive the most positive engagement.
If you would like to post directly to the group, you must first contact us via the designated form and outline your idea.
Pub Stops will review each request, and in some cases, there may be a cost associated with this type of post.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in reduced visibility for your business within the group or removal from the group.

4. Promotion & Additional Costs

Your listing covers standard visibility on the Pub Stops platform.
Extra promotion, such as featured spots, sponsored posts, or enhanced advertising, may incur additional costs.
These will always be outlined in advance, and no additional charges will be applied without your consent.

5. Cancellation & Termination

You may cancel your listing by providing at least 30 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle.
Pub Stops may suspend or terminate a listing if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or provide misleading information.

6. Liability & Indemnity

Pub Stops accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of information provided by pubs or for any loss of business resulting from errors, omissions, or downtime.
You agree to indemnify Pub Stops against any claims, damages, or losses arising from your listing, content, or events.

7. Changes to Terms

Pub Stops may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be communicated, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
